This policy explains what the app stores, what it does not collect, and how to remove your data. It applies to the BTCCINTL iOS app and this website.
This policy covers the BTCCINTL app for iPhone and the pages at btccintl.app. It describes what happens when you view reference prices, use the converters, keep Vault entries, change settings, export a file or contact support.
| Category | Examples | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Vault entries | Name, form, weight, unit, purity, quantity, cost, currency, purchase date, origin, notes | JSON file in the app's Documents folder |
| Settings | Home currency, home unit, manual reference price, welcome shown, articles read | App preferences |
| Exports | A CSV file created when you tap Export | Temporary folder, then wherever you send it |
These files are private to the app. The app does not read them for any purpose other than showing them back to you.
The App Store privacy label for the app is "Data Not Collected".
Gold prices and currency cross rates shown in the app are produced on the device by a model. They are reference figures, not market data, and no request is made to any price provider to produce them. A price you enter manually is stored with your settings.
When you export the Vault as CSV, iOS presents its standard share sheet. Where the file goes from there is decided by you and by the app or service you choose. The app does not receive a copy.
If device backups are enabled, iOS may include the app's data in your iCloud or computer backup under Apple's terms. Swiping an entry removes it; Settings offers a way to clear every entry; deleting the app removes all of its data from the device.
The pages at btccintl.app are static. They set no cookies and run no analytics. The hosting provider may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP address and time of request, for security and operation of the service.
The app is rated for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
If a future version changes how data is handled, this page will be updated and the effective date revised. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
